Local Practices and Games

All of our local practices and games will be at Pipeline Home Turf in Edina. This will be our home for most to all local box events. We chose this due to its great central location for our North and South of the Metro and everywhere in between families!

Goalies, You may purchase your own gear, but gear will be provided for you. We will have everything, but the goalie jock and turf shoes available in limited sizes:

-Leg Pads

-Breezers (Goalie Pants)

-Chest Pad

-Box Goalie Gloves (Dif. from field)

-Goalie Jock (Highly recommended)

-Turf Shoes

-Helmet and Throat Guard

-Box Goalie Stick

Frequently Asked Questions

How is box different from field?

-30 SECOND SHOT CLOCK

-NO WINGS ON FACEOFF, LINE UP ON DEFENSIVE, OR OFFESNIVE END.

-BOARD PLAY IS LEGAL, MOST OFFICIALS WANT YOU TO TAKE AN ANGLE AND RIDE OUT, NOT TAKE OUT. THIS RULE IS SUBJECTIVE.

-OFFENSE CANNOT REACH IN THE CREASE.

-CHANGE ON THE FLY (SIMILAR TO MIDFIELDERS, OR HOCKEY).

-IF A GOALIE GETS HIT IN THE HEAD WITH THE SHOT, IT IS A DEAD BALL AND IT IS AWARDED TO THAT TEAM.

-CREASE DIVES ARE FUN, JUST BE SMART. AND STAY OUT OF THE CREASE.

-OVER AND BACK RULE ONCE YOU CROSS THE HALF LINE (SIMILAR TO BASKETBALL)

-PENALTIES ARE 2 MINUTES FOR MINORS, 5 MINUTES FOR MAJORS. HOPEFULLY WE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THIS RULE MUCH.
